Po-Quang Chen, MD

President  (presidency of 2007-2010)

Dear APOA Members, Colleagues, Guests,

On behalf of the Asian Pacific Orthopedic Association (APOA), I sincerely invite you to attend the 16th Triennial Congress of APOA to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, November 5-9, 2010. The meeting will be held in the International Trade Center, Taipei. As the weather in October here is always ideal and the people are very warm. Taipei is geographically also very easily accessible for the foreigners; please put a mark on these dates in your schedule.

As always, we anticipate an exciting scientific program that is widely considered to be the highlight of the orthopedic surgery. We will provide excellent topics and information in both clinical and research fields which are new and worthwhile for our practice. We are sure these will attract the investigators and clinicians to participate in symposia, special lectures, workshops, and exchange ideas of the latest advances in musculoskeletal science.

Our Association has been expanded since 2001 and by the great contributions from the past presidents and organizers, APOA have become one of the important medical organizations in the world. The organizing committee in Taiwan has decided to do their best to continue this long tradition to host all of you. We hope to attract delegates from all member countries and other continents, and make this a truly international event. The social programs will also be provided to ensure all participants and the accompanying persons to explore and enjoy the warmth and tradition of this beautiful island.

We thank you for your continuous support of APOA. We look forward to seeing you in Taipei in October, 2010.

Sincerely yours
